Adriano Garcia is native from Curitiba, Brazil. In
2002, Mr. Garcia joined the Theatro Municipal do Rio de
Janeiro Orchestra as the First Trombone Assistant. He was then
awarded the Principal Trombone position in
2006. He also has served as principal trombone in two
of the most important orchestras in Rio de Janeiro; The
Brazilian Symphony Orchestra and The Petrobras Symphony
Orchestra. Mr. Garcia was part of Tabajara Orchestra,
Brazil´s famous orchestra, for two years. Besides recording
on numerous radio and television programs, he was the
trombonist in the Brazilian version of the Tony Award winning Broadway
musical 'The Producers'. Adriano has
participated in classes and master classes during music
festivals with Joseph Alessi, Jay Friedman, Charles Vernon, and Jacques
Mauger upon their visits in Brazil,
Adriano is Bach-Greenhoe artist and uses custom
designed Greg Black Mouthpieces exclusively.
